Meaning & Direction

I recently returned from South Korea, where I was involved in developing play experiences and exploring AI applications at Yonsei University. While I am limited in what I can disclose due to NDO restrictions, one of the experiences that made the greatest impression on me was working with a Futures Analyst who had previously served as an advisor in the South Korean Parliament.
Studying futures—examining likely and less likely outcomes based on trend analysis—is something you can also learn to do in Hawaii, and most large governments have entire departments dedicated to guiding decision-making by analyzing macro-level societal developments. It is in this perspective, not just at Morphiq but across society, that meaning and direction emerge: by stepping back to consider wider societal changes, we can shed light on the more mundane, practical decisions we make in business.
For Morphiq, this approach aligns directly with our mantra of liberating people from the mundane so they can contribute more effectively and with deeper engagement to their work—and, through that, cultivate a passion for society at large.
